Barneys New York will be rebranding two of its largest Co-op units in preparation to transform its entire Co-op fleet across the country.
In efforts to create a more cohesive company the co-op stores at 2151 Broadway in New York City and The Grove in Los Angeles will be remodeled and rebranded as Barneys New York beginning this summer. This will start a trend for the rest of the Barney’s co-op stores. The final plan is to be one store: Barneys New York, no co-ops included.
This is all due to the fact that the line between contemporary and designer is continuing to blur. The Barneys’ shopper and the co-op shopper are becoming one. As this continues to happen, the company must change and adopt in response to the customer.
An important note – the previous co-op, turned Barneys New York stores on Broadway and in The Grove will stay open throughout the complete three-stage remodel.
Happy Shopping!
