Timed with Pitti Immagine Uomo fashion week, yesterday maison Fendi celebrated the opening of its new Florence boutique with a glamorous cocktail party.

The new store spreads over two floors within an old aristocratic building dating back to 1400 located in the prestigious via dei Tornabuoni. Frescoed ceilings, a travertine staircase designed by architect Gwenael Nicolas and a light installation by the Italian artist and designer Jacopo Foggini are the key features of this new Fendi space.

Two items have been created exclusively for the new boutique: a limited edition Peekaboo bag in mink and a multi-coloured gilet in mink, fox and goatskin and inlaid detailing.
