Proenza Schouler has struck a licensing deal with Venice based Irs SpA to relaunch Proenza Schouler footwear, starting immediately with prefall 2013. Iris SpA will having previously done licensing for Marc Jacobs, Chloe, Michael Kors, Jil Sander and Nina Ricci’s footwear lines will begin their newest partnership manufacturing and distributing all Proenza Schouler shoes. The first time Proenza Schouler launched their footwear line was in 2008, licensing with Vicini SpA, originally founded by shoe designer Giuseppe Zanotti and wife. Shirley Cook, CEO of Proenza Schouler commented on Iris on the re-launch “incredible commitment to design and quality.
