Sergio Loro Piana, one of the vice presidents of the eponymous family company, has died. The Italian, who had suffered from illness for sometime, passed away at home, aged 65.
Sergio Loro Piana was head of cashmere clothier Loro Piana SpA with his brother Pier Luigi Loro Piana. The company has been sold in July of this year by LVMH. The brothers continued to be involve in the firm after the acquisition. They took vice presidents positions and maintain a 20 percent stake.
