Men’s Fashion Week in Milan started this morning with heartfelt words for the Missoni family by Mr.Corneliani on behalf of the company before presenting the collection.
Corneliani’s distinguished sharp tailoring was modernized with oversized coats and bags, elaborate knitwear and subtle cargo details in a color palette of grey, burgundy and ecru.

Most brands would be pretty lucky to get a ridiculously good looking, motorcycle-riding Scotsman to front their campaigns. But Belstaff got even luckier–the embodiment of the aforementioned qualities, Ewan McGregor, actually contacted it first.
Ewan actually pursued the recently relaunched Brit brand himself! CEO Harry Slatkin, who sounds like the ultimate cool cat, recounts the process:
“Ewan McGregor contacted me just after we bought Belstaff with an email titled “Born To Ride”. With his love of the brand and his inherent rugged good looks he was a natural to be our lead male for the campaign.”
Forget the savage beauty or dark drama you might be used to associating with Alexander McQueen collections and the marketing around them. Instead, get ready to put on your metal virtual reality goggles and be transported to a trippy, futuristic, vaguely extra-terrestial world.
David Sims directed the label’s mesmerizing fall 2012 campaign video in which Suvi Koponen plays around with her metal eye mask while navigating an 80s music video-esque psychedellic land of abstract exploding colors.
Individuals, each with their own personality, strengths and weaknesses, taste and style. They seem anonymous – especially when compared to the supermodels and stars who are usually the faces of fashion collections – but they’re not. Quite the opposite. The stars of the Lanvin Autumn Winter 2012/13 campaign are people aged between 18 and 80, women and men that the creative director of the French fashion house, Alber Elbaz, wanted to use to showcase the winter collection in a real way.
The campaign was shot by Steven Meisel and was created under the creative direction of House and Holme, Ronnie Newhouse and Stephen Wolstenholme. Hair and make-up were by Pat McGrath and Guido Palau, while set design was the work of Mary Howard.
Italian fashion designer Riccardo Tisci curates a tectonic rave for his latest Givenchy fall campaign.
Featuring models Stella Tennant, Stef van der Laan, Daniela Braga, Simone Nobili, Jarrod Scott, and Rodrigo Braga, Riccardo has decided to portray the euphoric energy of a rave dance party in the French house’s fall campaign.
“It is about happiness and the freedom of expressing yourself with your body. It shows a dynamic, happy and fun world, which is what fashion needs,” says Riccardo Tisci.
