After a 30-year absence, Loris Azzaro is returning to the high fashion calendar with a show scheduled in July during Paris couture week. One year before, the French fashion house tapped Arnaud Maillard and Alvaro Castejón, two Spain-based designers, as the new creative directors. Although it will continue to produce and market its ready-to-wear line, Azzaro is to stop showing during the rtw fashion weeks in Paris.

In only a few years, China’s top-end luxury consumers have gone from clamoring for status-driven brands and logo-laden pieces to seeking out quieter labels. The rapid evolution of China’s luxury retail market has created a unique opportunity for brands like Céline, which embarked on its own transformation six years ago when it brought designer Phoebe Philo on as creative director. In that period, as Céline’s sales have tripled globally, the brand’s China presence has grown apace, chief executive officer Marco Gobbetti said in an interview here Tuesday. Gobbetti said China is now in Céline’s top five most-important markets and will continue to be vital to the brand in the years ahead.
Moschino will show men’s wear ready-to-wear in London this season for the first time. Scheduled for June 16, the show will be held at a location still to be determined at 6 p.m. This will also the first men’s wear collection designed by Jeremy Scott. He will present around 15 pieces from Moschino’s women’s pre-collection during the runway.
Au Jour Le Jour will show its first men’s show in Florence during the upcoming men’s wear tradeshow Pitti Uomo from June 17 to 20. Label founders and creative directors Diego Marquez and Mirko Fontana will unveil their spring 2015 collection on June 10 at noon at the Dogana.
French house Christian Dior will present its Cruise 2015 collection in New York, at the Naval Yard on May 7. “We wanted the show to feel very New York, and the Navy Yard’s view and space captures the city” a spokesperson said. Dior latest cruise show was at Monaco’s Hotel de Paris.
The Victoria Secret’s Fashion Show is always a huge event and this year, it was more entertaining than ever with a performance of Taylor Swift and Fall Out Boy. Despite the big production, the show has highlighted the gorgeous models from the runway. From Candice Swanepoel to Cara Delevingne, the most known models was there.

“Art for fashion’s sake” was the inspiration behind this spring/summer 2014 collection by Jean-Charles de Castelbajac. His traces are everywhere in this collection, on dresses, skirts, accessories in monochrome and primary tones, the Castelbajac colours. The fashion show featured an original soundtrack with the voice of “Monsieur” created in collaboration with Mr-Nô.
