Stella Cadente, Hotel ORiginal Paris

[dropcap]W[/dropcap]hether through fashion, the world of perfumes or decorative arts. Stella Cadente expresses her creativity with great freedom and  enthusiasm.
Formed at Studio Bercot and FIT in New York, she sharpens her talent from top designers in different Parisian fashion houses. In 1995 she created her own brand of ready-to-wear and opened her first boutique.
Stella Cadente like to create as we tell stories, sometimes light, sometimes mysterious, but never without spirit and always with fantasy.
If the designer often finds his inspiration in the tales, it is mostly the dark and disturbing side of these stories that draw him like Stella Cadente associate the marvelous and the offbeat. She also likes to capture the zeitgeist and glean poetry and trends on the street. The fantasy world she created, always tinged with a touch of rock’n'roll, has become part of the codes of its brand.

When  she knew  the first time of the renovation of the Hotel Lyon-Mulhouse Stella Cadente saw an extraordinary opportunity for creative expression. Through the 38 rooms , the creator gave life, concretely to her ideas. Confidence and quality of the relationship between the owners and designer, gave the initial ideas to emerge without being distorted by a strict specification. Most furniture and objects that decorate today the Original Hotel, have been specifically  designed by Stella Cadente (carpets, paints, fabrics, lighting …). The Parts that can be visited today, are disturbingly resembling the very early studio models drawn by Stella Cadente.
As she  called it “She dresses up houses,” as she dresses the body in  her designer work, the creative impulse is the same regardless of the support.
