FIRST LOOK: MANOLO BLAHNIK’S EXHIBIT AT PRINTEMPS
| [dropcap]D[/dropcap]uring Paris Fashion Week, Manolo Blahnik will be launching an exclusive exhibit to celebrate its first shop-in-shop at Parisian department store, Printemps. This installation, which runs from September 20 through October 20, will feature the brand’s most well-known, signature designs as well as a more intimate look at Mr. Blahnik’s top picks. The designer told ELLE.com, “I am very excited about theexhibition at Printemps. It is going to be spectacular. The French do these sort [sic] of things very well. I am looking forward to seeing many of my favorite styles from the archives, especially the Ivy shoe, which was originally made for my dear friend Ossie Clark.”The “Ivy” Mr. Blahnik is referring to (pictured) is a little piece of shoe-art heaven that was originally designed in 1971 and will be available exclusively at Printemps. The body of the shoe looks like a divine Garden of Eden for your feet, and the tread is signed by the man himself. It’s every Manolo aficionado’s fantasy. |

Cole Haan Capsule Line Designed by Olivia Kim and Jen Brill
[dropcap]C [/dropcap]ole Haan has teamed up with Jen Brill and Opening Ceremony’s Olivia Kim to introduce a three-style capsule collection this fall. The silhouette of the shoes will follow Cole Haan’s new Chelsea pump and is to be sold exclusively in Opening Ceremony at the SoHo location. Retailing at $528 for a pair of sandals and $548 for a boot, the collection “feels authentically Cole Haan through a modern New York City perspective” as told to WWD.

House of Holland X Superga
[dropcap]H[/dropcap]ouse of Holland rework the casual Superga Classic 2750s incorporating their fun and quirky SS12 prints such as polka dots, leopard and crochet knits, with high-ups and platforms .
The range has a pastel based palette drawn from Henry’s ‘Pastel Punks’ SS12 show which was denim, cotton, candy-coloured chiffon collective!
A Queen Forever
[dropcap]T[/dropcap]o celebrate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee year, VOGUE jewellery editor Carol Woolton is curating a diamond exhibition; ‘’Brilliant’’ - which will launch as part of the annual Masterpiece London Fair.
For the occasion, Roger Vivier’s style director Bruno Frisoni has re-designed the pair of shoes worn by the Queen Elizabeth II on her crowning day in 1953. Adorned with diamonds and feathers and created in collaboration with the East India Company, the shoes titled ‘’A Queen Forever’’ will sit alongside other highlights such as a black diamond and emerald collar by Karl Lagerfeld.
Masterpiece London will take place from June 28 – July 4 at the Royal Hospital Chelsea.
